#20 - Smile Time
[episode 5.14]

Hey kids! Are you ready to learn? How about from puppets who want to suck the essence of the innocence out of your bodies? YAY! Fun! This may be the funniest episode of all-time, and I’m sure some will argue that it should be in the top 10, and quite frankly, I went back and forth on it. But here it is at #20, so let’s all be happy kids! HEEEEE-HEEEE!!!! *locks self in padded cell*

#19 - Sleep Tight
[episode 3.16]

Ok, now that I’m back from the looney bin, let’s continue. I love “Sleep Tight” because it feels very cinematic. Wes gets his throat slit by Justine, Holtz takes baby Connor to Kortoth, Angel and Sajhan are all one-on-one, and Wolfram & Hart want the kid too. It’s just all over the map, unfortunently the rest of the season had to happen.

#18 - Destiny
[episode 5.8]

Spike and Angel want to be the vampire in the Shanshu prophecy. We get some backstory about why Spike hates Angel, and we also get guest stars in Julie Benz and Juliet Landau. We also get Mr. Kane back in the mix, and it’s all his crafty little plan which sort of makes no sense once we get to “You’re Welcome”, but still good stuff.

#17 - Orpheus
[episode 4.15]

It’s Willow! When you don’t know a creative way to get Angel’s soul back, there’s only one person you need. The only thing that makes this episode not higher up is the fact that evil Cordy is around. You also notice that Connor doesn’t mess with Willow the same way he messes with Faith when she comes to town. Me thinks Connor isn’t as dumb as he looks.

#16 - Parting Gifts
[episode 1.10]

The Rogue Demon Hunter comes to town, and there will be pain! Oh yes, pain! Pain…and chaffing. Wesley joins the A.I team, and it’s such a funny and cool entrance that you gotta put it in the top 20. Well, at least I do, and this is my countdown, so hah.

What will be number 1? You’ll know soon enough, unless I decide to totally burn you – which would be hillarious.

Nick: Sleep Tight pisses me off. Such a powerful episode, but at the end when Angel starts running towards Holtz they recycled footage so he sprints, then when they cut back to him he sprints again. It kinda takes away from the moment and I wish I had never noticed.

Becca: Sleep Tight not in the top 10? What, are you nuts? I must have gasped 20 times during that episode. P. G. is one of my favorite too, but I bet not as many people here like it. Orpheus is in my top 10. Angel’s trip with Faith is worth it. We don’t agree now. S. T. is great and all, but top 20 for me too. And I really didn’t care for Destiny as much as you did. I can’t wait to see what you have at the top. Then we can scream at you again. We’ll still read your rantings though.
