KLUDDE THE GOBLIN

History

A malignant, shape-shifting demon, Kludde would jump on the back of its victim and cling with its talons. As the victim would struggle and tried to dislodge it, Kludde would become heavier, eventually killing the human, who would die of exhaustion. Its usual manifestation was an old horse, but it often appeared as a black dog.

During one their nightly patrols through the park, Buffy and her boyfriend Riley were attacked by the Kludde. Clinging onto Riley’s back, Buffy tried to kick him off, but it was of no use. Buffy managed to save Riley by playing a recording of church bells ringing, which caused the goblin to turn into stone. Not wanting to leave the ‘lawn ornament’ lying about for someone to discover, Buffy smashed it to pieces.

Powers + Weaknesses

Kludde has the ability to shape-shift and can also increase his mass to become heavier.

The only known weakness is that the sound of church bells will turn Kludde into stone.
