History
Warren Whitcomb was Sunnydale’s own renowned entomologist, who joined the Hive’s ranks in an effort to try and wrest control from the Hive’s Queen, but was overpowed and transformed into a drone to help protect the Hive from attack. The Hive’s conquest of the surface world was put to a stop by Buffy and her friends, while Whitcomb was killed by Buffy’s Watcher, who believed that Whitcomb was responsible for the death of his girlfriend.
