The YRF is something Amber Benson and other BtVS related souls strongly support. I do as well. The Festival produces plays and musicals written by teenagers. Admissions are sent in from people aged 13 through 19, with a dozen or so selected, developed and brought to the stage each year.
YPF has added photographs from the plays that have already run:

Scroll down to see Tom Lenk, who acted in There’s Someone Living in the House that Jack Built written by Jason Connors. There are two pictures of the cast with Jason. (there are also pictures of Danny Strong in another play)
This year, Amber Benson is set to direct the play Women are the Weaker Sex, written by Courtney Hoffman. The play lets the audience listen on a group therapy session run by William Shakespeare and attended by various Elizabethan heroines. Women… runs Friday, June 27th at 8 PM, Saturday, June 28th at 8 PM, Sunday, June 29th at 3 PM and Sunday, June 29th at 7 PM. Tickets are $12 per play. You can also get a Festival Pass - four evenings for $40. A handling fee is added if you order via the ticket form.

You can also call (323) 661-9827 for tickets or more information. Tickets may be at the door IF the house isn’t sold out and seats are still available. If you live in or around Southern California, I urge you to go take in a show or two. Support young playwrights. Support live theatre.
