Update: October 13, 2004

Who the hell woke me up?

All kinds of stuff in the New Bites this morning, including…

  • The rumours of “Tru Calling” being cancelled. It hasn’t been cancelled yet, but Fox only ordered 6 episodes and there is still talk about it moving to the WB. Sounds bad all around to me.

  • It’s apparently down to 3 candidates to direct X-3. Whedon is supposedly still in the running, although we can’t be too sure. Avi Arad is a supporter of Joss, and 2 of the 3 have been recommended by him. So one can assume Joss is on the list.

  • The WB may be looking to spin-off Smallville straight from a future episode when Bart Allen (The Flash) shows up in town. The episode in question was written by Buffy/Angel alum Steven S. DeKnight.

This is way too many rumours for my brain this early.
