Happy Birthday Buffy!

People keep saying Buffy is 10 this year, and I have to play dumb with the others. Let's face it; no one wants to remember the movie with Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry. Well, no one except Coach Jon. Hell, Joss Whedon himself doesn't want to remember it.

There's been a lot of online media coverage of Buffy's 10th and her re-introduction into the pop culture landscape with the new Buffy Season 8 Dark Horse comics (penned by Whedon). It shocks me somewhat that some people still talk about the series like it just ended yesterday, considering no one had been talking about it for a couple years until the moment people heard there was going to be a comic book. Just look at all the Buffy fansites that died the last 2 years to see what I mean.

Anyway, it's good to see Buffy back, even if it's just in the comic book form. Here's hoping for an endless supply of crappy memoribilia that goes with it.
