I Like The Blue
I really hate to say it but I actually like the smurf. It’s sexy. Besides, it’s about time we’ve had a decent psychopath on TV. again. Not to mention the new great outfit that actually makes her look like she has breasts. Speaking of breasts, oh my god can the CEO of the Italian branch of Wolfram and Hart please move to LA? ‘Cause she is hot. Anyway, back to Illyria, I know that was so unfair of her doing what she did to Angel. Yadda yadda yadda. Blah, blah, blah. I like Psychopaths. They’re fun, unpredictable, and just generally self-serving, as shown quite well by Illyria. You know a psychopath. Let’s face it, it was disturbing at first to see Angel turn into Angelus, but it is even more disturbing to see poor, innocent, kind, little Fred to be turned into something that can access her memories and can act just like her when she decides to. Angelus did this at one point, but you could see thru the façade much more easily than you can Illlyria’s. For a moment there, I almost forget that she wasn’t Fred. But alas, I do see her point about the Burkles moping around and being tired of seeing Wesley do it, because I am too.
As for still having the sass, I like the sass. Everyone else in W&H is always in a bad mood why can’t she be? After all, it is a place of evil! I mean, Hello!
As for other stuff in the episode, I absolutely love Andrew and his women. This was the obvious “my gay best friend” moment. After all, who best to go to a party with than you gay guy friend. You feel protected because, well he’s a guy, and he tell ya how to fix your outfit if it needs it. Not to mention, Angel’s jacket… that was so umm fashionable. Yeah, that’s the word. My only real complaint about the episode was that of Spike’s jacket. I mean, come on, he’s had that jacket for 30 years. It looks hot on him. I’m just going to leave the Buffy stuff alone with the exception of one thing, Spike and Angel talking about locking her up, which was hilarious. I’m sure there’s going to be enough ranting about her.
